Terms of Service

Effective date: August 11, 2026

Welcome to Reviewful. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Reviewful (the "Service"), currently offered as a private beta. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What Reviewful Does

Reviewful lets you search for a business's Google Business Profile, select one of its existing public 5-star Google reviews, choose how it should look, and download a styled image of that review for sharing on social media. Business and review data is retrieved live from Google's Places API at the time of your request; Reviewful does not independently collect or verify this data.

There is no account and no login. The image downloads directly to your device — we do not ask for an email address in order to give it to you, and there is no limit on how many you may download. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.

2. Who Can Use Reviewful

Reviewful is intended for use by business owners and individuals authorized to represent a business (e.g., an employee, marketing contractor, or agency acting on the business's behalf).

By ticking the confirmation box and generating an image for a given business, you represent and warrant that you are the owner of that business, or are otherwise authorized to act on its behalf for marketing and promotional purposes. Reviewful does not verify Google Business Profile ownership, and that confirmation is an attestation by you rather than something we check. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use a given business's reviews in this way.

Because the Service is open and unauthenticated, that attestation is the only control on whose reviews get exported. It is a binding representation by you, and the responsibility for an unauthorized export rests with the person who made it.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access, and to introduce rate limits or other technical controls, for any use that violates these Terms.

4. The Launch Waitlist and the Early Adopter's Pass

Generating and downloading graphics during the private beta is free and unlimited, and requires no email address. Alongside it we offer two optional things.

The launch waitlist. You may give us an email address so we can tell you when Reviewful launches and send occasional product updates. Submitting that form is your consent to receive those messages; you can ask us to remove you at any time by emailing ryan@reviewful.app. Joining the waitlist is not a purchase and does not entitle you to any particular feature, price, or launch date.

The Early Adopter's Pass. The Pass is charged now and secures a reduced monthly price for continued access once Reviewful launches. The current price, what it includes, and the expected launch timing are shown on the offer at the point of purchase and are what govern your purchase. Payment is processed by Stripe — we never receive your card details. Access granted under the Pass is currently arranged manually after purchase.

Because Reviewful is a private beta, the launch date and the exact feature set at launch may change. If you have a question about a charge, or would like to discuss a refund, email ryan@reviewful.app.

We may introduce limits or new tiers, change prices, or otherwise modify the Service's feature set at any time.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

a) Google-sourced content

Business names, ratings, and review text/author names displayed and rendered by the Service are sourced from Google's Places API and remain the property of their respective owners (the business, the reviewer, and/or Google, as applicable). Reviewful does not claim ownership of this content. Exported images include a "via Google" attribution as required by Google's API terms — this is a compliance requirement, not a partnership or endorsement claim, and Reviewful is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google. You may not remove or obscure that attribution from an image the Service generates.

b) Reviewer names

Reviews are written by real people whose names Google displays publicly. Before generating an image you can choose to show the reviewer's name in full, abbreviate it, mask it, or replace it with a generic label. You are responsible for how you present a reviewer's name in material you publish, and for responding to any request a reviewer makes about it. If you believe an image generated through the Service misuses your name or review, contact us at ryan@reviewful.app.

c) The generated image file

Subject to the rights of the underlying review content described above, you're free to use, post, and share the images you generate through the Service for your business's ordinary marketing purposes. Reviewful does not retain a copy of an image once it has been sent to your browser.

d) Reviewful's own branding

The Reviewful name, logo, and product design are the property of Reviewful and may not be used without permission, apart from their appearance within images the Service generates for you.

6. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," especially given its current private-beta status. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reviewful and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages arising from your use of a business's reviews without proper authorization to do so. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

8. Third-Party Terms

Your use of the Service is also subject to Google's applicable terms governing use of Places API data, and — if you buy an Early Adopter's Pass — to Stripe's terms for the payment itself. Reviewful is a separate product from these services and is not responsible for their availability, data accuracy, or policies.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or for any other reason, including discontinuation of the Service itself (as this is currently a private beta).

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as the Service evolves. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict of law principles, and any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Marion County, Indiana.
